Potato production is very complex and requires intensive management to produce high quality potatoes for use in consumer packaged goods. Some of the many technologies that they are leveraging in advanced crop protection practices are the Prospera pivot-mounted camera system, Taranis, and Canopio (a crop canopy quantification tool). They are also experimenting with digitally controlled high-speed pivot systems such as the Pivot Bot. Collectively, these tools are enabling new options and more comprehensive management practices that help them ensure their crop's yield and quality in a complex production system.
